If Bright Beginnings West is the first step in formal preschool education, then our "Young 3's" is the perfect introduction to preschool!
Created with the younger child in mind, this program is for children who are turning 3 (must be at least 2 1/2) years old but may not be fully potty trained or able to handle the structure of our older, more mature 3's class. This is the perfect introduction to a group situation that is a little less structured with emphasis on social and developmental skills. Children will be exposed to the same fine learning programs that are used in our older 3's class but at a more relaxed pace. They will learn letters with the Letter People and visit number land. They will also develop listening skills, social interaction through songs, developement of fine motor coordination through art activities such as finger and easel painting, verbal developement and language through sing-alongs and nursery rhymes. There are ample opportunities for children to express themselves and be creative. Young children enjoy participating in small activities and learn through play.
This class allows the young child to adjust to new situations in a comfortable, structured environment which helps to alleviate seperation anxieties. It also allows for social interaction with children in their own age group encouraging sharing, waiting their turn, forming a line, and following instructions. Classes are taught by a 4 year degreed State Certified Teacher with the assisitance of Classroom Aides. Smaller classes (maximum 15) allow for more individualized attention to help the younger child to feel more secure in a safe, nurturing environment. Classes are full or part time, 2, 3, 4, or 5 days per week.
So come joing the fun and give your young child a
BRIGHT BEGINNING!
